To know me is to know the land I come from, the land in which half of my family is from, the land that was once ruled by kings and queens before religious, military and tourist occupation. 

Home is the sound of Keali`i Reichel’s voice (this song is “Kawaipunahele” lyric translation here).  His voice serves as the soundtrack of this afternoon’s writing session of Fish Food, the sound to which my grandmother would cook and clean for our family…the sound of home.
